Read & Retreat Society is taking over the pond at Viña Castellano for two unhurried hours of wine and whatever you're currently reading — no obligation to socialize, just good company, good wine, and good pages.

​We'll have cushions and umbrellas set up at the water's edge and a tasting flight in hand to sip between chapters. Bring the book you've been meaning to finish, the one you can't put down, or the one you haven't started yet.

• ​One tasting flight of 4 wines (Spanish varietals and blends; primarily red wines, complemented by one white wine and one rosé)

• ​Pond-side seating with cushions and umbrellas

• ​90 minutes of low-key, silent reading time
